“We are convinced there are unbreakable ties that connect the Serbian and the Jewish people” Vučić told Rabbi Isak Asiel and the Jews in Serbia.

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić congratulated Rabbi Isak Asiel and all members of the Jewish community in Serbia on the holiday of Hanukkah.

President Vučić's message reads: “From the heart, I wish you a happy Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights. May the memory of the struggle for freedom and of identity and tradition be a lasting and inexhaustible inspiration, so that by preserving our spiritual treasures we may contribute to the progress of the human community.”
