Anti-Semitic incident occurred in Belgrade
31.5.2021.

On 27.5.2021. an anti-Semitic incident occurred in Belgrade. The incident aroused a state of large agitation and fear among the members of the Jewish community.

Walls in front of the supermarket "Aman" in the Str. 27 March in Belgrade, were covered with posters with anti-Semitic contents. One poster bore the Svastika sign with the text "We are everywhere".

The other poster mentioned exclusively Jews, in an outrageous and extremely obscene context.

The Federation filed a report on the incident to the Republic Prosecutor's office and to the Republic Ministry of Interior Affairs, and informed on the incident the OEBS mission in Serbia, the World Jewish Congress, the European Jewish Congress, and the Israeli and USA embassies in Belgrade.
